Artist: Abraham Ferraro
Abe Ferrero works with interactive performance installations that explore the struggle artists experience to create, promote and sell their work. A carpenter, mental fabricator and furniture maker, he has appeared in solo performance/shows in Troy, N.Y. and New York City.

The Itinerant Artist Project
Artist: Jim Mott
Over the last few years, Jim has taken to the road as an itinerant painter, traveling the U.S., trading artwork for hospitality. He’s visited 30 states and produced over 350 small paintings.

Dolls & Dresses
Artist: Jennifer Hecker
Hecker’s sculptures explore scale as an alternate between working out ideas with dolls and fabricating life-size dresses. Fabricated in a variety of materials from straw to eggshells and cast bronze, these dresses underscore the connection between women and nature.

Artist: Jacqueline Welch
The artist’s paintings involve the current debate of no-kill shelters vs. traditional shelters that periodically euthanize unwanted pets and the rise in abandoned pets due to the failing US economy.

From Here to There
Artist: Antonio Petracca
Born in Rochester the firstborn of six children, Petracca earned his MFA from RIT and was director of the Pyramid Arts Center until 1986. While paying homage to his Italian ancestors, his most recent work enters the dialogue concerning the effects of stereotyping and misrepresentation of Italian Americans in the media and entertainment industry.

Patchett’s first novel, “The Patron Saint of Liars,” was named a New York Times Notable Book for 1992. Two years later, her second novel, “Taft,” was awarded the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize for best fiction work. Her third novel, “The Magician’s Assistant,” earned Patchett a Guggenheim Fellowship.
