ROCHESTER – May 20, 2013 – Monroe Community College Summer Sessions give students an opportunity to make the most out of summer – to catch up, get ahead or stay on track. MCC’s Summer Session I starts Tuesday, May 28; Summer Session II starts Monday, July 8.
Students can choose from more than 600 classes in liberal arts, math, science, information technology and more. Classes are available at the following locations: MCC’s Brighton Campus, 1000 East Henrietta Road; MCC’s Damon City Campus, 228 East Main Street; Greece Athena High School, 800 Long Pond Road; and Webster Schroeder High School, 875 Ridge Road. For students who prefer independent study or a more flexible schedule, MCC also offers many course options online.
MCC Summer Sessions allow students to focus on one or two classes which can often lead to greater academic success. The wisdom of this opportunity has not been lost on college students who are home for the summer. Almost 40 percent of MCC\Summer Session students are enrolled at other colleges and universities during the fall and spring semesters.
