WHAT: Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren will deliver the keynote address, based on the theme “Unity in the Community,” in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Monroe Community College.

WHERE: Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center on MCC’s Brighton Campus, 1000 E. Henrietta Road.

WHEN: Noon Friday, Feb. 14

DETAILS: The celebration begins at 11 a.m. with performances by MCC students and Brockport-based Alpha Phi Alpha -- Rho Alpha Chapter, the first collegiate fraternity in the U.S. for African-American men. The event also includes an opportunity for the public to meet Mayor Warren.

Sponsored by the Monroe Community College Diversity Council, the event is free. Parking is available in lots M and M1.
