In order to receive financial aid for registered courses, you must take courses that are required in your Program (or that can satisfy a general elective within your program). To be in compliance with federal and state regulations, MCC is using software that runs current registration through CAPP. The CAPP report displays all the coursework that is required to complete your Program (FAQs: Program vs Major). If you register for a course that is not required or cannot apply as a general elective within your program, you will get an error message and will receive notification in your student email. Failure to comply with course eligibilty regulations will result in the reduction of your financial aid package.
If you get an error message upon registering for your courses please review the FAQs to understand and resolve the discrepancy.
It is important to determine your course eligibility prior to registering for classes!!
