Results from Inauguration Community Service Projects:

  • Kress Inauguration Run/Walk and Ride: 99 people participated to raise $1,147 for the Snowflake Scholarship Fund
  • Book and a Blanket Drive: 123 blankets;128 books; $150 monetary donation "Rochester Education Foundation truly appreciates the donation of books and blankets to city students in celebration of the inauguration of Monroe Community College President Anne Kress," said Patricia Braus, executive director of Rochester Education Foundation. "This generous gift from the Monroe Community College community is a reflection of the important role MCC plays in the lives of young people in the City of Rochester."
  • Literacy Project EDU 150: more than 20 books were created as part of a collaboration of MCC EDU 150 service-learning students and School #58 2nd grade students. Download Dewey Drops In (PDF) for an example.
