Internship Description
Learn to use a variety of standard and specialized sourcing techniques (i.e. online searches, job boards, networking, etc.)
Learn interviewing techniques and skills.
Learn how to enter and maintain all applicant flow and recruiting information in the Recruiting System.
Learn how to demonstrate expertise in using standard sourcing tools (corporate websites, general job boards, professional associations, agencies, college postings and alumni organizations, open houses, employee referrals) as well as specialized sourcing strategies (contracted research, niche websites) to build candidate pipelines.
Gain knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
Gain strong verbal and written communication skills.
Gain strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create effective work relationships with recruiters, management, HR and candidates.
Gain a strong work ethic. |

To prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the Recruiting and Human Resource functions of a professional staffing organization to include theory and practical application of attained knowledge.

Stipend: Unpaid Internship
Our Goal of this Intern Training Program is to establish a fundamental business foundation in these key areas:
Business Management
Staffing and Recruiting Skill Training
Human Resources
Personal Development
Technology Training
Team-based relationships including mentorship

The primary incentive in this program is the opportunity to investigate a career opportunity in the Human Resources and/or Staffing industry with hands-on experience prior to graduation. Once completed, the intern will have sufficient knowledge necessary to determine if a career in these industries is the right opportunity to pursue.
You will be participating in actual recruiting campaigns; from development to roll-out to hiring. You will develop skills vitally important in today’s business environment including team-based interaction, the ability to manage outcome without having direct authority over others, and the capability to aid in the definition and the direction of local and national firms staffing initiatives.
Although this internship is unpaid, we will work with the student and his/her school to assist the individual in receiving credit hours. c1search offers many opportunities to increase your knowledge of business, personal development, and human resource skills.
