Renee Rigoni (Business Administration and Economics) and Pat Kuby (Mathematics) recently attended the 15th Annual Sloane-C International Conference on Online Learning in Orlando, Florida.  As part of their service to MCC’s Distance Learning Assessment Initiative, Renee and Pat attended the Sloane meetings to collect information on current “best practices” in the administration and assessment of online education programs among higher education institutions. 

The Sloane Consortium is recognized as a leading organization in the promotion of quality online education.  MCC maintains its membership to Sloane-C through the Education Technology Services Division.  Renee and Pat’s attendance at the conference was sponsored by the Office of Academic Assessment.
