Introducing Anne M. Kress, Ph.D.
as Fifth President

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -April 27, 2009- The Monroe Community College Board of Trustees today named Anne M. Kress, Ph.D. the fifth president of MCC.
Kress is currently provost and vice president for academic affairs at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Fla. Her appointment as MCC president is effective July 6, 2009.

I am pleased to announce that the Monroe Community College Board of Trustees has selected Dr. Anne M. Kress as the college's fifth president. Dr. Kress will begin her MCC presidency on Monday, July 6.
Dr. Kress brings to MCC over 20 years of experience in higher education, the last four years as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL. As the Board compared her experience, skills and qualities to the qualifications we delineated at the beginning of our search, it quickly became clear that she is extraordinarily well-qualified to lead MCC.
