This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Little Rock Crisis.

In 1957, nine African-American students were sent to Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. They were the first African-Americans to attend this all-white high school. The protest they faced is one of the seminal events of the Civil Rights Movement in America.  

History Professor Mark Sample, will tell the story of the people & the events surrounding this important part of American history.

This talk will be Tuesday December 5 from 2:00- 2:50 in High Falls B.
