STUDENTS COMPETE FOR $225,000!!!! ENTER THE REGIONAL NYS BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION

The HYPERLINK "http://www.rochester.edu/entrepreneurship/nybp"Finger Lakes Regional Contest of the New York State Business Plan Competition is accepting applications now through March 8, 2013. Submit to the following categories:

·         Biotechnology / Healthcare

·         Energy / Sustainability

·         Information Technology / Software

·         Nanotechnology / Advanced Technology

·         Products / Services

·         Social Entrepreneurship / Non-Profit

A two-page written application is all that is required to enter (a full business plan is not necessary). Regional semi-finalists will be invited to the presentation round at RIT. Then, the Finger Lakes winners will go head-to-head with finalists from nine other regions for $225,000 in cash and in-kind prizes in the statewide competition in April at the University at Albany. The competition is open to currently enrolled students.
