New Degree Program - Child Care Practitioner A.A.S (ECE1).

The Department of Education and Human Services is pleased to announce final approval of its newest degree program - Child Care Practitioner A.A.S (ECE1). This two-year degree is designed to prepare students to enter the work field in various early care settings specific to children ages infant through age eight. The comprehensive child development coursework that includes two field work placements at local child-care centers and schools seeks to provide the student with a balance of academic and theoretical understanding of young children with practical, hands-on experience.
