2nd Annual Youth Mappers Mapping Party is a success!
Over twenty students, faculty, and staff participated in the second annual
Youth Mappers mapping party hosted by MCC's Geography/Geospatial program, the
Global Education and International Services Office, and the Student Events and
Governance Association. Students mapped roads in Uganda which is needed to
addresses delays in receiving quality health care associated with maternal and
newborn deaths. The data that emerges from this mapping task will improve the
knowledge of the relationships between access to and use of life-saving
maternal & child health services. For more information on MCC's GIST
program, please contact Jonathon Little (jlittle@monroecc.edu).
