Bogdanovska invited to show her latest work in Main Street Arts Gallery
Jasna Bogdanovska, Assistant Professor of Photography at the Visual and
Performing Arts department has been invited to show part of her latest body of
work at Main Street Arts gallery in Clifton Springs, NY. The exhibition titled
"Unknown, Overlooked, and Unfamiliar" will showcase bodies of work from three
photographers. Each series of images is an investigation into a unique and
distinct subject matter. The exhibition will feature 30 photographs by Jasna
Bogdanovska, Harry Littell, and Nigel Maister.
The opening reception is on Saturday, February 24 at 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. The
exhibition runs through March 30. The gallery will also host an artist talk
with the photographers on Saturday, March 10 at 1 p.m.
The opening
reception and the artists talk are both free and open to the public. The work
showcased can be viewed and purchased online at
www.MainStreetArtsGallery.com.
In addition to the opening reception, a pop-up show featuring the
work of jewelry artist Anna Sprague will take place on our second floor. The
pop-up show will also run from 4 to 7 p.m on February 24th.
Main Street Arts is an art gallery showcasing contemporary art and fine
craft from established Upstate New York artists. Located in the historic,
picturesque village of Clifton Springs, NY, the 3,600-square-foot space has two
floors offering exhibitions, an artist residency program, and workshops.
