HGHRP Human Rights Day Speaker, Student Leaders on WXXI's Need to Know Program Tonight
Tune into WXXI-TV at 8 p.m. tonight* to watch Need to Know host
Hélène Biandudi Hofer's recent interview with Dydine Umunyana and Holocaust,
Genocide, and Human Rights (HGHRP) student
leaders. The interview focuses on Umunyana's personal story of survival during
the Rwandan Genocide and the students' response to her speaking at the HGHRP's
Human Rights Day event in December 2018.
During 2019, the HGHRP will host a variety of events to commemorate the 25th
anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide, including:
