GeoFest 2017 - A Celebration of Geography
GeoFest 2017, a mini-conference celebrating geography, will be held here at
Monroe Community College on Saturday, November 11th from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM.
It will feature workshops on a variety of topics, with special emphasis on
civil rights and the Erie Canal. It is cosponsored by the NY Geographic
Alliance and the Dept. of Chemistry/Geosciences. All members of the MCC
Community are welcome to attend. The morning session is FREE.
You still have time to register. Go to the website of the New York Geographic
Alliance. The day will begin in the Forum (Bldg. 3). A continental
breakfast will be served. Workshops will follow shortly afterward. There is an
optional PM activity, a tour of Mt. Hope Cemetery. If you are interested in
that, please indicate on your registration form.
If you have questions, contact Tim McDonnell (tmcdonnell@monroecc.edu).
