Albi Street
Walking through the gate of the twelfth-century Cathedral of Saint Cecilia located in the town of Alibi, France, we find ourselves in the south of France during Medieval times. The Cathedral reflects the cause of its main champion, Chief Inquisitor Bernard de Castanet, Bishop of Albi (1277-1307) in reaffirming the authority of the Roman Catholic Church. The church was a strong presence in Europe. Church of Saint-Sernin (11th.C) and Church of St. Salvy (15th.C) are among many examples of churches that show the depth of faith of the people at this time
