2 MCC Leaders Selected as NYS Student Success Center Coaching Academy Participants

Please join me in congratulating Elizabeth Baxter and Darrell Jachim-Moore for being selected to participate in the 2021 NYS Student Success Center Coaching Academy. They are among 15 professionals from SUNY colleges and SUNY’s EOP and EOC programs in the Coaching Academy’s second class this spring.

Launched in 2019, the Coaching Academy is a rigorous yearlong training program for SUNY college leaders to develop expertise as guided pathways institute coaches or peer mentor coaches to support broader student success innovations at their campuses and system-wide. By developing organizational coaches at a state level, SUNY seeks to further the skills of leaders who will create and sustain institutional change to ultimately enhance student success and completion.

Baxter serves as Title III MCC APPLIED program director; Jachim-Moore is associate vice president in Administrative Services. We are extremely proud of them and grateful for the leadership and support they provide every day at MCC.
