Jodi Oriel & Angelique Stevens to Present at Innovations 2016


Congratulations to Jodi Oriel (Office of Student Life and Leadership Development) and Angelique Stevens (English/Philosophy) who recently received word that their presentation proposal was accepted by the League for Innovation in the Community College’s 18th annual Innovations 2016 <https://www.league.org/i2016/>  conference in March. Their presentation, Beyond the Classroom: Real World Problems & Real Word Solutions, shares a collaborative model between academic and student services partners that infuses collaborative learning into the curriculum and extends theory into the real world. The presentation will highlight exploration of the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project.

Innovations 2016 is the premier event for professionals dedicated to improving organizational teaching and learning, and discovering new approaches for enhancing the community college experience. This international conference provides a forum for collaboration among academic experts and leading community college professionals, while granting participants exclusive access to the most inventive and thought-provoking programs from around the world.
