Renee Rigoni's Reflection on 33 Years of Service as a 2021 Carmen Powers Legacy Lecturer

Renee Rigoni is one of our 2021 Carmen Powers Legacy Lectures honorees. During her 33 years as a professor in Business Administration, Renee has led the college in multiple capacities. In her nomination letter, her colleagues write, “Renee Rigoni’s contributions are not limited to one area but are diverse and have crossed many different areas of the College community. Innovation, initiative and leadership are the hallmarks of her contributions to improve teaching, advising, mentoring, union relations, and curriculum, making her a highly sought-after faculty member. At the core of her success was her desire to enhance collaboration at all levels of the College. Her favorite saying is an African proverb: ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.’”

Attached are Renee’s reflections about her career at MCC. Please take the time to read her reflection and about her close friendship with Carmen.

Thank you, Renee, for your tremendous impact at MCC.
