TCC: Invitation to join a Reflective Practice Group for the Spring Semester

Our Friday Reflective Practice Group is recruiting new members!

All faculty and professional staff are welcome. In order to establish a trusting group where members can bring examples of real work, we ask that you commit to attending all meetings, for the whole time, during the semester.

  • Fridays 10:00-11:50

Research shows that when faculty participate in sustained professional development, in supportive collaboration with colleagues, they are more effective teachers and have more job satisfaction.

MCC offers this sustained PD experience through our Reflective Practice Groups. To learn what it is like in an RPG meeting, please watch this video created by Karen Coffey and Maryann Cianciotto (VAPA).

What happens in an RPG meeting?

Please excuse the old terminology. A Reflective Practice Group will feel the same as the formerly named Critical Friends Group (CFG).
