AAWCC – Volunteer with FOODLINK!

Join with your MCC pals to help out at FOODLINK Saturday, October 25 from 9-noon. The American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) is organizing a group of volunteers from MCC to sort and organize food donations for distribution to local shelters, soup kitchens and other organizations that serve our community’s most vulnerable members. Family members, friends, and children over 8 years of age are all welcome. Mark your calendar now and RSVP to Catharine Ganze Smith at your earliest convenience <"mailto:csmith6@monroecc.edu">.

Founded over 25 years ago, FOODLINK has grown to serve a 10 county area in the Genesee Valley and Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. As a member of America’s Second Harvest, FOODLINK obtains and redistributes over 6 million pounds of food annually to a network of over 550 programs.

Note: Information on FOODLINK adapted from their website.
