Hello, I am sure many of you have heard of Hospice here in Rochester. Well, the Rochester area yacht club's sponsor an annual regatta on Lake Ontario off the mouth of the Genesee river to benefit Hospice. This year the Regatta will be held on August 18th. My brother Mark and I will be racing upon a C&C 29 named True Colors. We will be sailing in memory of loved ones whose names will be placed upon a banner that will be hung from the side of the boat. Those same names will be entered into a brochure as well if we receive the by August 10th (this Friday). Should anyone like to make a contribution to Hospice you can do so and sponsor us at the same time. If you would like to, please make checks payable to the Hospice Regatta and forward them on to me by Wednesday, August 15th with the names of those you would like honored on our banner. Also, if you enjoy sailing, make your way down to Charlotte that weekend to watch the racing. Or if you're really into it, you can even try to crew for a boat that is still looking for someone down at the Rochester Yacht Club. Hope to see you there and thank you for listening.
