Mental Health First Aid Workshop: Open to all Faculty, Staff and Adminstrators

The Counseling Center and Disability Services are offering Mental Health First Aid training to MCC faculty, staff, and administrators. The training will be led by Shannon Glasgow, MS, LMHC, from the MCC Counseling Center and Disability Services.

This 8-hour training program teaches participants to help others who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps participants to identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses. (https://www.mentalhealthfirstaid.o rg/cs/)

We will be offering the 8-hour training in a two day format. The training will be offered on November 14th and November 16th from 1:00-5:00pm in 9A-114. Both sessions are required to complete the training.

Please email Shannon Glasgow at sglasgow@monroecc.edu to sign up.

If you are interested in participating but cannot attend at this time, please e-mail to indicate your interest. We'll keep your name on our list and we'll let you know when the training is being offered again.

Hope to see you there!
