Our friends at Siemens have asked us to share the information that they are teaming up with Monroe Community Hospital and Sunnking Electronics Recycling to host an electronic recycling event open to the public in their Siemens parking lot located at 422 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620, this Saturday, 8/20/11, 9am – 2pm.
Acceptable electronics include laptops, desktops, computer accessories, TV’s, monitors, audio/video equipment, mp3 players, communications equipment, servers & IT equipment, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, cellphones, PDA’s, medical/lab equipment, and anything else with a circuit board or cord. Please feel free to double-check the Sunnking website for a list of acceptable materials at https://www.sunnking.com/acceptable-materials.
The event is free and for every pound of electronics that Sunnking recycles in Monroe County, a monetary donation will be made to Foodlink through the We-Cycle Donation Program to help feed the hungry.
