MCC women's soccer player Angela Williamson and volleyball player Jordan Bandera were named the MCC Athletes of the Week.
Williamson, a freshman goalkeeper, registered two shutouts as the MCC women's soccer team went 1-0-1 last week. Williamson had 11 saves in a 0-0 tie with No. 9 Iowa Western CC. She then had four saves in a 1-0 victory over No. 15 Middle Georgia. She has a 0.26 Goals Against Average in four games this season for the Tribunes (3-0-1).
Bandera, a sophomore libero, was named to the All-Tournament team as the Tribunes went 3-1 at the Pioneer Classic at Alfred State. Bandera totaled 50 digs in the four matches.
