Administrative Services Organization Structure

Administrative Services has recently reorganized the Department of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) from reporting to the Chief of Public Safety.  EH&S best serves the needs of the College community reporting to the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Facilities.  The work performed by EH&S employees requires complete access to property and space which will be best provided working under the Facilities umbrella ensuring the health and safety of the environment.

This move involved reporting changes for two employees.  The EH&S Assistant Director, Ray Sabourin, now reports to the Facilities AVP, Quent Rhodes.   One EH&S Technical Assistant, John Morrill, recently hired reports to  Assistant Director Sabourin, EH&S for a total of two staff. Chris Caswell, who previously reported to EH&S, remains under Public Safety serving the College as a Safety/Security Technology Specialist, reporting to Interim Chief Chris Piro.

The Environmental Health & Safety office is responsible for the development and implementation of programs intended to insure the safety and well-being of all campus members of Monroe Community College. The office is committed to achieving college-wide compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental protection regulations. These regulations include those mandated by, but not limited to, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the New York State Department of Labor (DOL), and the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA).
