Register Today! Essential Discussions - Beyond Academics: Supporting Holistic Student Readiness

Registration is now open for "Beyond Academics: Supporting Holistic Student Readiness" - the eighth event in our series of Essential Discussions: Conversations at Monroe Community College.The Essential Discussions series explores topics that are shaping the postsecondary agenda.

MCC will host this one-day colloquium on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. The colloquium will explore non-academic barriers to student achievement and new ways to transform students into more confident learners and achievers. The event will be held from 8:30 am to 2:45 pm in the Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A & B).

The colloquium will feature Jacquie Beaubien, consultant for Project for Education Research the Scales (PERTS), Stanford University and Kevin Li, Dean of Arts and Sciences, Triton College. Response panels comprising faculty and administrator perspectives from a variety of colleges and school districts will follow the morning and afternoon keynote presentations.

Please register online by Thursday, March 1. This event is free and open to the public. We hope you will join us!
