Mental Health First Aid Training: January 9th and 10th!

The Counseling Center and Disability Services are excited offering Mental Health First Aid training to ALL MCC employees! The training will be led by Shannon Glasgow, MS, LMHC, from the MCC Counseling Center and Disability Services and Michael Johnson, MS Ed, NCC from the Student Engagement Center.

There is still room for additional participants in our January training this week!

This 9-hour training program teaches participants to help others who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps participants to identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses. (https://www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org/cs/)

We will be offering the training in a two day format on:

  • January 9th and 10th, 12pm-4:30pm, Brighton Campus, 9-239

Please email Shannon Glasgow at sglasgow@monroecc.edu to sign up for the January 9th & 10th training.
