Information Session for Leave for Professional Advancement for the Benefit of the College

Are you interested in learning more about the Leave for Professional Advancement for the Benefit of the College process? If so, plan to attend the upcoming information session on Leave for Professional Advancement for the Benefit of the College. The information session will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021, from noon to 1 pm on Zoom.

The session will provide an opportunity to learn about the application process, eligibility, and will include lessons from your peers about their experience applying for a Leave for Professional Advancement. A member of the Faculty Senate Professional Development Committee will be on hand to answer any questions. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP with Natasha Christensen (nchristensen@monroecc.edu) by noon Monday, February 1st, 2021.

If you are not familiar, leaves are made available each year to faculty and non-teaching professionals. Leaves exist to increase the value of faculty and non-teaching professionals in service to MCC's strategic plan and annual goals, thereby improving and enriching the MCC experience. Leaves are granted for study, formal education, research, writing, or other experiences of professional value.

Leave packets for the 2021-2022 academic year are due March 16th, 2021. Please see the Faculty Senate Blackboard page for more information.
