MCC-Cornell Partnership in "Diverse" Magazine

MCC's partnership with Cornell University, the Pathways to Success program, is highlighted in the February 22, 2007 issue of "Diverse."  Funded by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, Pathways to Success is striving to increase the number of low- and middle-income students enrolled at selective colleges and universities.

In the article, Associate Vice President Tony Felicetti says, "Over the last seven or eight years, we're now seeing many more students who are very capable academically, who can easily earn admission to a four-year college, but who choose Monroe or choose a community college because the cost factor has become such a big issue for them."
