TCC: Register Now for February's Adjunct Supper for Success!

Did you know that helping students connect what they are learning in your class to their future careers helps them motivate themselves?

Join us for Career Conversations & Connections Monday, February 7th at 5:00pm.

This presentation is designed to walk participants through supporting students in career exploration, internships, and job placement. Participants will be introduced to some of the career tools at MCC with a focus on Career Coach. We will discuss how these tools might be embedded in your courses. Additionally, participants will learn about education to employment services at MCC, ways of getting students involved in experiential learning opportunities, and connecting students with employers.  Participants will get an overview of job placement services, ideas for building meaningful employer interactions, and hear student success stories.

NEW this Spring! Bringing the supper to you!

Since the start of the pandemic, we've missed an important part of the Suppers for Success series: sharing a meal together while we discuss teaching. We are thrilled to be able to offer GrubHub gift cards this semester to bring the supper part back to the Suppers for Success!

Here's how it will work:

  • The first 20 people who register will get a $15 GrubHub card
  • When you register, be sure to include your current address so we can mail them to you
  • Order yourself some dinner and enjoy it during the workshop!

Please check your schedule carefully before you register. While we know that emergencies arise, we would hate to lose the opportunity to provide these cards because folks register, get a card, and then do not show up to the session. Many thanks!

To receive a gift card, register by February 2.  If you miss the deadline, you are still welcome to attend. Last chance to register for the Zoom link is February 4 at noon. The Zoom link will be sent to all registrants Friday afternoon.

You can register by clicking this link.
