Marchese Advises Students on Financial Literacy

In the May 3 Democrat and Chronicle article, “Sources are out there to boost financial literacy,” staff writer Diana Louise Carter said that MCC Professor Joe Marchese, Business Administration/Economics, “will never get rich with this advice: Don’t use a credit card unless you know you can pay it off in full when the bill arrives.”

In the article, Marchese recalls a student's response to his advice and remembers those days when most Americans’ didn’t buy thing they couldn’t afford. He also offers additional sources of financial literacy information.

The Democrat and Chronicle also offered a podcast of Marchese's interview on May 1.
