Dr. Maria Brandt Selected for the AACC's Dale P. Parnell Faculty Distinction Recognition Award

Dr. Maria Brandt has been selected for the American Association of Community College's Dale P. Parnell Faculty Distinction Recognition Award. The award recognizes faculty who demonstrate a passion for the students and the classroom and show a willingness to support students. Award recipients are also engaged in service to the College through committee work. Dr. Brandt's love of the discipline and her steadfast commitment to teaching and learning are evident in her scholarship and innovative programs that serve our students and enrich the mission of Monroe Community College. Dr. Brandt is dedicated to her students' success and spends countless hours outside of the classroom helping students with their writing and, in some cases, guiding them through the revision process to publication. MCC is proud of Dr. Brandt's exceptional leadership and teaching excellence and we are honored to have her representing the College as AACC's Dale P. Parnell Faculty Distinction Recognition Awardee.
