Open SUNY making some major changes - Lunch and Learn

The SUNY chancellor has convened a task force to make some upgrades to the way SUNY schools offer online classes and programs. Open SUNY, which will be known as SUNY Online if this plan goes through, will take a more aggressive role in marketing programs and onboarding students in the future. This will be achieved by the centralization of some of the functions for enrollment management including marketing and student onboarding. They are also investing in technology infrastructure to support these functions. Stop by lunch and learn session on Wednesday, February 20 or Monday, February 25 at 12:00 in the Empire room on the Brighton Campus. Attached find the white paper with details and justifications of the evolving organizational structure surrounding these changes. SUNY is seeking feedback from campuses on this document. Please forward your feedback to ldugan3@monroecc.edu.
