Call for Open SUNY and Hybrid Course Development - Deadline March 18


An Open SUNY Course proposal is used to convert an existing course to online via the internet through the Open SUNY Network, Blackboard platform.  Faculty with basic computer skills and a willingness to adapt teaching to asynchronous environment and to participate in required training will be provided a stipend.

The Hybrid Course Proposal is used to convert an existing course to online via the Internet through the Open SUNY Network, Blackboard platform. The supplemented face-to-face instruction may not constitute more than 50% of instruction. Faculty with online teaching experience or with basic computer skills and a willingness to adapt teaching style to asynchronous environment will be provided training. Review and approval is the responsibility of the division dean.
