The "What Happened to the Class of 2018?" Report Is Now Available

The "What Happened to the Class of 2018?" book and brochure are now available electronically at https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/research/what-happened-to-the-class-of/ .

Some of the highlights from the report include:

  • 1,352 (59 percent) of the graduates had been in transfer (A.A. and A.S. degree) programs

  • 607 (27 percent) of the graduates had been in career (A.A.S. degree) programs.

  • 319 (14 percent) of the graduates had been in certificate programs.

  • We have outcome data on 68 percent of the graduates. It came from the Graduate Follow-Up Survey, National Student Clearinghouse, and various MCC departments. The data shows that...

    • 67 percent of graduates are either employed or continuing their education.
    • Graduates were hired by 380 different employers.
    • Graduates transferred to 139 different colleges and universities.
    • Of the career and certificate program graduates who secured full-time employment, 91 percent are in jobs related to their major and 96 percent are employed locally.
    • SUNY Brockport continues to be the #1 receiving campus, with 260 of our graduates transferring there. RIT was second with 120.
