Attendance due by February 14th

Attendance is due by February 14th for courses that have begun for Spring 2022.

*Note: This is a separate process from weekly Starfish attendance, and is used in reporting for Financial Aid purposes.

Please submit your attendance in your Banner Account under Faculty Essentials (Instructions below). When submitting, you will enter a 1 or 0 code. Code of 1 means student has attended and code of 0 means student has not attended your course.  You will only need to submit these codes once for your Spring 2022 course that has already begun.

How to Enter Attendance in Banner:

  • Log into MyMCC using your MCC email address and your account password.
  • Select the Employees tab at the top of the screen.
  • Select Faculty Essentials on the menu bar near the top of the screen.
  • Scroll down and you will see the menu box called Attendance and Grading in the center column.
  • Click Attendance, Withdrawal, and Final Grades.
  • Select the correct term and click Submit.
  • Select the correct section and click Submit.
  • Under the Attend Hours put the correct code for every student in your class:
    • 1 if the student has attended the class
    • 0 if the student has never attended your class
  • At the bottom of the form, click Submit.
  • At this point go back to close the form and then go back into it, to make sure you submitted it successfully and there's a number in the column for every student.
