Updates to www.monroecc.edu

One of our most important recruitment tools, to reach and connect with prospective students, is our website. The Marketing Department, with support from Sean Baker in Computing, have made updates to the MCC homepage. Under the three rotating photos that promote fall, summer and online opportunities at MCC, there are now four "buttons" that will direct students to specific enrollment departments. The buttons are designed to better direct and connect new students to the right department. Additional highlights include the promotion of virtual services, including appointments and webinars designed to engage students and seamlessly guide them through the enrollment process.

This is one stage of the homepage redesign. Updates will be made in gradual steps to insure continuity and to analyze web traffic analytics. Analytics will help identify and inform updates for the design of the navigation and search function. Additionally, Marketing will be working with department web liaisons on updating all program pages and department pages throughout the next several months.

Thanks to Deb Davis for leading this effort, Craig Watkins for documenting the web plan and developing the concept, and Sean Baker for his expertise in bringing the web changes live, with a quick turnaround.
