Passing of Associate Professor Emerita Anne M. Scheuerman
I am sad to inform the college community that Associate Professor Emerita Anne M. Scheuerman passed away on June 14, 2017.
A pioneer member of MCC's faculty, Anne, who earned a B.S. from SUNY Cortland and a Ed.M in guidance and counseling from the University of Rochester, began her MCC career in 1962 as a physical education instructor. Known for her versatility as a teacher and her dedication to MCC students, Anne developed the first stress management, travel & tourism and yoga courses here. She retired in 1994 after serving the College for 32 years.
