A Tribute to Rick Sadwick

The Student Services Center at the Downtown campus re-opened this August after the 17-month pandemic closure. Rick Sadwick, Associate Director of Registration and Records, volunteered to coordinate the re-opening process. For the past four weeks Rick has provided leadership and guidance to staff from the Downtown and Brighton campuses to ensure that the 3rd floor office suite was thoroughly cleaned, fully equipped, and properly staffed for the Downtown students. The Center is now operational and has welcomed a number of students.

For the fall semester Student Services staff from multiple offices at Brighton will rotate coverage at the Center. VP McKinsey-Mabry and her team will also assist at the Center, and President Burt-Nanna will hold weekly office hours there. An Administrator-in-Charge is established daily so that faculty and staff from the Downtown campus have a point of contact for any student service needs. 

Office hours at the center are 8:45 am to 4:45 pm Monday through Thursday, and from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays.

A special thanks to the staff from Registration and Records and the Downtown Faciilities and IT teams for going above and beyond so that Rick could complete his important work preparing the Center for re-opening.
