Celebrating Asian/Pacific American Directors & Their Films

The Global Education & International Services (GEIS) and the PRISM Multicultural Center, (a sub-set of the Inclusion/Diversity/Equity/Accountability Office) have collaborated together with several entities, The LEVIN Center “End the Hate”, APAA “Asian/Pacific Islander American Association of Greater Rochester, The Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester and sponsors: KONAR Foundation and Ameriprise Financial"  to celebrate Asian and Pacific American Directors by presenting an array of films through the month of July and August.

Over 20 million people of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage live in the United States, totaling about 6 percent of the US population, representing a wealth and diversity of cultures and experiences within our country.  We are asking you all to take a little bit of your time and immerse yourself in the richness and complexity of cultures that make up this community curated by experts.  We hope that you can attend all of or some of these films that honor great cultural richness.

All of these excellent films will be shown through the months July 1st – through August 19th, 2021.

WHEN:             All films are on THURSDAYS
