<p>Top student presenters from MCC's 14th annual Scholars' Day competition were announced Wednesday, May 11th at a celebratory reception. Twenty-three students received MCC Foundation scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 for research and creative presentations. The scholarships were presented by college leaders and benefactors and special guest Soledad O&rsquo;Brien.</p>

Scholars' Day Scholarship Awards

More than 75 students presented research at Scholars' Day and participated in the Celebration of Writing and Small Eternities Creative Writing Capstone Reading at the Brighton campus on May 10th and 11th, respectively. Research topics represented a variety of academic disciplines, including the humanities, science, engineering, and social science. Students build valuable research and presentation skills through the experience. MCC faculty served as judges.
