Multi-Factor Authentication Roll-Out

Beginning the morning of Wednesday August 18, optional Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enrollment will be offered on the employees.monroecc.edu service, which houses time-off calendars for various departments and the curriculum database, among other HCL Domino based services. At that time, when you attempt to access one of the aforementioned services, you will be prompted to enroll in MFA to provide an extra layer of security. 

After you enroll, any time you visit a service on employees.monroecc.edu you will need to input a rotating token produced by your chosen authenticator app, in addition to your password. We will continue the optional MFA roll-out to other services following employees.monroecc.edu. 

While you will have the option to skip MFA enrollment during the initial roll-out phase, we encourage all users to follow the prompts to enroll, in order to sort out any issues before MFA becomes mandatory. Once MFA is mandatory, it will be systematically enforced for all services accessed through your MCC Single Sign On (SSO), and you will not be able to log into any services protected by MFA without providing your token.

Please submit a ticket to the help desk if you encounter issues in the MFA enrollment process; be sure to include details such as screenshots and which authenticator app you have chosen to use.
