RMAPI presentation on Unmarried and Single Parents in Poverty

On Tuesday, March 10, Henry Fitts, Director, Mayor's Office of Innovation, will be at MCC to present findings from the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative (RMAPI) report titled, Unmarried and Single Parents in Poverty.

According to this study conducted by the City of Rochester and RMAPI, in Monroe County, unmarried households with children account for the largest subgroup of households living in poverty. To help reduce the poverty rate and foster student success, it is important to have a clear understanding of the challenges and experiences this population faces, and how it impacts our community.

All are welcome to join us for an interactive discussion on Tuesday, March 10th, from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, in the Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center (Empire Room).
