Appointment of Brenda Rhyne as Coordinator of the GED Program


It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Brenda Rhyne as the Coordinator of the GED Program within the Division of Interdisciplinary Programs.  Ms. Rhyne has been working as a GED instructor since the program began in the fall.

Ms. Rhyne began her career as a Case Manager and Assistant Manager for the Action for a Better Community’s Head Start program.  She has taught at the Rochester Junior Academy, the Charter School of Science and Technology, Rochester Business Institute, and at MCC’s STAGE Program.  She has recently completed the New York Teacher Certification Examinations in languages, mathematics, social studies, and science.

Brenda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organization Management from Roberts Wesleyan College and a Master of Science degree in Communication & Media Technologies from RIT.  Please join me in welcoming Brenda this new position.  The GED Program office is located in Building 8, Room 611.  Brenda can be reached at extension 3149.
