Last Chance to Add Your Name to the Annual Fund Honor Roll of Donors

If you have not made an annual gift to help make an MCC education accessible to everyone, we can still add your name to our 2020-2021 Annual Fund Honor Roll of Donors if we receive your gift or pledge by August 20. 

Your gift will create life-changing opportunities and help build strong foundations for MCC students like Stephanie Guilin ’19, an addictions counseling program graduate who received scholarship support.  
  
Stephanie lost both of her parents at a young age.  Without a strong support system or guidance of an adult, Stephanie faced many of her own struggles, including addiction and homelessness. She worked incredibly hard to overcome her battles.  She enrolled in SUNY Plattsburgh and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Upon graduation, she found it difficult to find work, which eventually led her to enroll at MCC, where she majored in addictions counseling.  While at MCC, Stephanie held a part-time job and served as Student Trustee on the MCC Board of Trustees.  She is currently working as the LGBTQ+ Street Outreach Specialist at The Center for Youth.  

Stephanie is thankful for the support she received that allowed her to concentrate on her studies, earn her associate degree and secure a full-time job.  She had this to say, “Coming from a place where I know firsthand what it’s like to need support, I knew I found where I was meant to be—at MCC!”
