Save Yourself Grief--Prep for Winter
(Rochester, N.Y.) - Monday's snow was just a preview of what's to come.
Each year around this time, Monroe County leaders remind residents to start preparing for winter.
Drivers are encouraged to take extra care on the roads and get their cars inspected and ready for winter.
Residents are also reminded to stock up on supplies including prescription drugs.
New this year, the county has teamed with the Red Cross and MCC's Homeland Security Institute to create a brochure with tips designed especially for seniors.
