Wil Turner, Instructor in the English/Philosophy Department, was noted in the October 31 edition of the New York Times in an article entitled, "Not Poifect, Dem Movies of Brooklyn." Turner, who grew up in Brooklyn, presented a reading from his essay, "Tony, Auggie, and Mook: Race Relations in Cinematic Brooklyn" at the Brooklyn Film Conference.
