Diane L. Shoger, Executive Director of the MCC Foundation, chaired a two-day SUNY Retreat for Chief Advancement Officers in Albany, NY on January 19-20. Twenty-four out of thirty-four SUNY community colleges were represented by their head development administrator, senior development officers and volunteer foundation board chairs. The retreat focus was strategic board development and it also included a presentation by Mike Cooney, Esq., Partner, Nixon Peabody, LLP, on non-profit management governance issues. Diane was accompanied by Mark Pastorella, Director of Development, MCC Foundation and David J. Mack, Board Chair, MCC Foundation.
