Fall 2018 Academic Calendar Dates

Please Review the Fall 2018 Academic Calendar Dates with Students
MCC's Fall 2018 Academic Calendar includes 15 weeks of instruction with an additional week designated for final examinations. The 15 instructional weeks are spread out over a 16-week period to ensure that classes on each calendar day from Monday through Saturday will be able to meet 15 times during the semester. Over the course of the 16 weeks, faculty and students will have a corresponding day of the week where no classes are held. At your first class meeting, please review these dates with your students, as follows:
Monday 9/3: College closed, Labor Day
Tuesday 9/4: College open, NO CLASSES
Wednesday 11/21: College open, NO CLASSES
Thursday 11/22: College closed, Thanksgiving recess
Friday 11/23: College closed, Thanksgiving recess
Saturday 11/24: College closed, Thanksgiving recess
